Katie Cross

Katie Cross

Katie Cross is the author of The Network Series. She grew up in the mountains of Idaho, where she still loves to play when she gets the chance. If she's not writing, you can find her traveling, working as a pediatric nurse, trail running with her husband and two dogs, or curled up with a book and a cup of chai.

Conception of The Network Series Edit

"The inspiration for the Network Series came while I was hiking in Pine Mountain Georgia. Letum Wood is based on the foggy trees and rolling hills of that forest area. Every time I went there, I thought a witch certainly lived in those trees." - Katie Cross on the conception of The Network Series

"It took me 6 weeks to write the first draft, and I worked at it non-stop! The plot for the Network Series is really ongoing, and it really comes about with a lot of hair-pulling, blood, sweat, chocolate, and tears." - Katie Cross on writing Miss Mabel's School for Girls
